What is a Welcome Page?

The Welcome Page in a learning management system is generated automatically as a home page or first page for your portfolio. It can contain images, movies, text, or anything you like. In a personal web page, the Welcome Page is your home page. On a CD or DVD, you need to decide whether you want a Welcome Page or whether you want to start with the Language Passport. The samples that follow can be used on a CD or DVD, or they can be imported into a learning management system or a web page.
